What is the difference in the Hereafter between the pious and committed person and someone who committed sins and repented with sincere repentance?

The Muslim whose sins are few and who follows them with repentance and seeking forgiveness, while fulfilling his duties, is of a higher degree and status than one who committed many sins and repented before his death. Nevertheless, no one can determine the ranks of people in Paradise except Allah Almighty.
