Am I having many dreams about my father?

We are advised to maintain the remembrances (adhkar) of sleep. Frequently seeing your father in dreams may indicate a strong attachment to him and frequent talk about him. If the dream is good, then praise Allah. If it is otherwise, then supplicate for him often, seek forgiveness for him, give charity on his behalf, and pay off his debts if he owes any to the Creator or to His creation. We are also advised to maintain ties with his loved ones and friends, as this is a form of righteousness towards him after his death.
