هل ورد في سيرة الرسول محمد بن عبد الله أنه أحيى موتى؟
It has not been mentioned in the Sīrah or Hadith that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, resurrected the dead. However, it has been narrated concerning him that which is greater than that: the resurrection of dead hearts and bringing them out of darkness into light. Furthermore, Allah brought inanimate objects to life for him, and they spoke to him, such as the pebbles glorifying Allah, the stone and trees greeting him with peace, the yearning of the palm trunk, and the poisoned sheep's foreleg speaking. Ibn Kathir narrated that Al-Shafi'i said: "Allah did not bestow upon any prophet what He bestowed upon Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him." And when it was mentioned that Jesus resurrected the dead, Al-Shafi'i said: "Muhammad was given the palm trunk that yearned until its sound was heard, and this is greater than that."
