Is it permissible to translate the phrase "We are the children of Buddha" if it refers to a living person who authors books on New Buddhism, and not the well-known Buddha?

Translation is like writing. Just as it is impermissible to write atheistic, sin-inciting, or obscene phrases, it is likewise impermissible to translate them. This is because doing so would be an endorsement of falsehood and an aid to its propagation, as Allah Almighty says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression" (Quran 5:2). However, it is permissible to translate falsehood for the purpose of refuting it and clarifying the truth to its people.
