Who was the first creation of Allah, and was Satan beautiful and among those close to Him before the creation of Adam? How did he enter Paradise after his expulsion? And what was the height of Adam and Eve?

All praise is due to Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. The first thing Allah created was the Pen, as stated in the authentic hadith. Regarding Satan, he was beautiful when he was with the angels worshipping Allah. But when he disobeyed, he became ugly. He used to worship Allah with the angels, but he was not one of them. Satan was created as part of the jinn, who were created for worship. As for Adam, his height was sixty cubits, as affirmed in the Sahihayn, and it is probable that Eve’s height was similar or close to his. The creation has continued to diminish in size ever since, up to the present day.
