Is it permissible to pay a sum of money to a person who has seized land and falsified its ownership documents, in order to avoid legal dispute with him and recover the land?

If a man has usurped your land by force, you may take his case to court or seek the help of someone to remove him, even if it involves paying him money to leave. There is no sin upon you in doing so; the sin is upon the oppressor.
