It has been previously clarified how much the blood money (diyyah) is, and that the blood money for a woman is half that of a man. The valuation of blood money in dollars fluctuates, rising and falling. Therefore, whoever is obligated to pay blood money and agrees with its recipients to value it in dollars, should pay it at its current value at the time of valuation.
