In its current state, cinema promotes vice due to the films it shows, which are not free from the forbidden, and the abominations and mixing that occur in its halls. As for political films that are free from forbidden elements, it is permissible to watch them outside of cinemas, provided that doing so does not lead to neglecting an obligation or committing a forbidden act. However, entertainment films are absolutely impermissible to watch due to their inclusion of forbidden elements.
