What is the ruling on one who forgot to stone the Jamrat al-Aqaba (the large pillar) on the day of Eid, relying on his sick wife?

Whoever forgets to throw the Aqabah jamrah and does not make it up during the Days of Tashreeq owes a دم (blood/sacrifice). However, if he makes it up, he owes nothing, because all the days of Mina are a time for throwing the jamarat.
