What is incumbent upon one who threw the pebbles for only two days, mistakenly believing that what is meant by the noble verse (And whoever hastens [his departure] in two days, there is no sin upon him) are the first and second days of Eid, then it became clear to him that what is meant are the second and third days of Eid?

If your father did not stone the Jamarat on the second day of Tashreeq, and did not spend the night in Mina on the twelfth night, then a dam (sacrifice) is due from him for omitting the stoning of the second day, and a mudd (a measure) of food for omitting the overnight stay. There is no sin upon him for his ignorance of the ruling.
