What is the ruling on shunning one's father to deter him from his false accusations, and what is the solution to this problem, which includes the father's suspicions of illicit relationships between the mother and son, and between the daughter and son, in addition to his jealousy towards unmarriageable kin (mahārim), and his declared threat to kill the mother?

The father afflicted with excessive suspicion and jealousy should be treated like a patient who needs gradual treatment, not like a criminal, bearing in mind that slandering chaste women is one of the gravest sins.

Treatment does not mean boycotting the father; rather, one must continue to communicate with him, advise him with kind words, and be patient with his harm, for Allah commanded companionship with parents in kindness even if they enjoin polytheism.

It is advisable to appease the father and try to open a new chapter with him, agreeing upon the fear of Allah, while managing communication in a way that minimizes his harm and abuse without completely severing the relationship.
