What is the ruling on saying: "Angels and Paradise surround you" in this world, and "They envy you for the love of God"? What is the ruling on saying: "Religion and the world are one"? What is the ruling on saying: "You alone hold the solution to your problems"? And what is the ruling on saying: "This world is not big enough to contain him" regarding the obedient servant?

The phrases in question refer to the paradise of this world, which is the enjoyment of obedience to Allah and drawing closer to Him, not the paradise of the Hereafter. The closeness of angels to the pious believer in this world and envy in the sense of 'ghibṭah' (desirable emulation) are both true. The saying "Religion and the world are one" means that their rectification lies in steadfastness in obedience to Allah. As for the saying "It's just you," it indicates that a person alone chooses their path and bears their responsibility, while keeping in mind that guidance is in the hands of Allah. There is no harm in listening to anashid (religious chants) as long as they do not contain anything forbidden in their lyrics or musical instruments, and there is no imitation of the dissolute and corrupt people, nor are they taken as a substitute for the Book of Allah or consume all of one's time.
