Is it permissible to supplicate during Tarawih prayer for a marriage proposal from someone one admires for his religiosity and intellect to be answered?

It is permissible for a person to supplicate to Allah Almighty to marry him to someone in whom he perceives righteousness and piety, as mentioned by Khalil. However, it is advisable to make a general supplication that Allah protect the supplicant's chastity, provide him with a righteous spouse of good character and faith, and avert all evil from him. This is better than naming a specific person in the supplication, for that person might not be as righteous or pious as is perceived.
