The scholars differed concerning the man mentioned. It was said that he was Abbad ibn Bishr al-Ansari, and it was also said that he was Abbad ibn Nahik. Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar mentioned that he was Abbad ibn Bishr ibn Qayzi, as narrated by Ibn Mandah.
