What is the ruling of Islamic law on using complimentary and unrealistic phrases in job applications, such as expressing interest in the company's field of work or feeling proud to work for it, knowing that the speaker may not be truthful in their feelings?

Lying and cheating are reprehensible behaviors that a Muslim must avoid, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Beware of lying, for lying leads to immorality, and immorality leads to the Hellfire," and he also said: "The signs of a hypocrite are three, even if he fasts and prays and claims to be a Muslim: when he speaks, he lies; when he promises, he breaks it; and when he is entrusted, he betrays." Therefore, these phrases that contain lies or deception are not permissible.
