Does the fast of a son who described his father as a "dayyuth" become invalidated because of the father's lack of ghira (protective jealousy) over his daughter, who stays out late, despite the son's attempts to dissuade her from doing so?

It is obligatory to hasten to repent to Allah for insulting and abandoning one's father, for the father's right is great, and it is not permissible to be harsh in speech or to offend him when advising him. Repentance is achieved by ceasing the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it, along with seeking the father's forgiveness and appeasing him. Sins do not invalidate fasting, but they may diminish its reward, and sincere repentance erases what came before it.
