What is the ruling on saying "The light of Allah is upon the light of the sun," intending that the light is from Allah, and is it forbidden?

If it is said that the light of the sun is the light of Allah, then if it is meant that the light of the sun is created by Allah, this is correct. However, if it is meant that the light of the sun is an attribute of Allah, then this is false, because Allah Almighty does not indwell in any of His creations. His light, which is His attribute, differs from His created light, as pointed out by Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn al-Qayyim. The Quran, the Sunnah, and the Companions all differentiate between the light of Allah, which is His attribute, and His created light.
