A woman resides where her husband resides, and she is not permitted to refuse to live with him if he provides her with a suitable independent dwelling, unless she stipulated before marriage that she would reside in her own home. Obedience to the husband takes precedence over obedience to parents, and it is not permissible for the wife to leave the house without her husband's permission. The husband must provide an independent dwelling for his wife; otherwise, she has the right to refuse to live with his family.
