Is it permissible to place papers between the pages of the Mushaf to facilitate opening the surahs when students are reciting for memorization?

It is permissible to place temporary markers in the Mus'haf, such as clean pieces of paper, to indicate a specific location for a legitimate purpose like memorization recitation. This does not contradict the veneration of the Mus'haf. If the Salaf placed permanent markers, such as the end of surahs and parts, then placing a temporary marker is even more appropriate.
