Is the image of Jesus (peace be upon him) that Christians display his true likeness?

The images that Christians attribute to Christ and his mother are imaginary, not real. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, described Jesus, peace be upon him, saying: "(He was) a medium-sized man, inclining to reddish-white, wearing two white garments, as if his head were dripping (water) even if it was not touched by wetness." This indicates that the circulated images are not real. Furthermore, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not enter the Kaaba until the images within it were removed, including images of Abraham and Ishmael, peace be upon them, casting lots with arrows, which demonstrates the fabrications and distortions of the artists. Islam has warned against images because they were a cause of polytheism and the worship of others besides Allah, as happened to previous nations who worshipped idols sculptured in human forms. Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, mentioned that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, condemned those who built mosques over the graves of righteous people and made images within them, considering them the worst of creation. In summary, these images are not real, and even if they were, they should be obliterated because they lead to polytheism and the beautification of falsehood.
