A husband is permitted to marry a second wife under the conditions mentioned in No. 30688. Islamic law does not stipulate that the first wife must be informed. However, it is preferable to inform her to placate her, avoid problems, and safeguard rights. Regarding lying to her, please refer to Fatwa No. 40296.
