How is the recitation of Surat Al-Baqarah maintained, and is it obligatory to recite it in its entirety daily, or can it be recited over the course of a week?

Reciting the Qur’an is among the acts of worship, and Surat al-Baqarah has a special virtue, as Satan flees from the house in which it is recited. It is said to the reciter of the Qur’an: "Recite, ascend, and recite distinctly as you used to recite distinctly in the world, for your rank is at the last verse you recite." It is recommended to be assiduous in reciting the Qur’an, and Surat al-Baqarah in particular, though it is not obligatory. Whoever is unable to recite much should do what they can. There is no harm in reciting Surat al-Baqarah over the course of a week.
