ما هو سن التكليف بذبح أضحية للأولاد؟

A single sacrifice (Udhiyah) is sufficient for a father and his children whom he supports, based on the Hadith of Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him). There is no specific age for this; as long as the child is under the father's financial care, one sacrifice is sufficient for both of them. If the child becomes financially independent, it is then sunnah for him to offer a sacrifice on his own behalf. However, if the intention is to sacrifice on behalf of minors who possess their own wealth and are not under the care of a father, such as orphans, the preponderant opinion is that it is permissible to purchase a sacrifice for them from their own money, provided that this does not cause them harm.
