Is it permissible to pray in clothes that have been splattered with a part of toothpaste containing alcohol, when it has left no trace?

If intoxicating alcohol is added to toothpaste, the toothpaste may become impure because intoxicants are considered impure by most scholars. However, if the alcohol transforms and becomes non-intoxicating, it becomes pure, and neither the toothpaste nor anything else is rendered impure by it. This is the opinion of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah. So, if the aforementioned alcohol is impure, it is not permissible to use it. If you are unsure whether some of it has touched your garment, you can sprinkle a little water on the garment and pray in it. If you are certain that your garment has been touched by impure toothpaste and you are confused about the exact location of the impurity, then prayer in that garment is not valid until it is completely washed.
