One must denounce evil with their hand; if unable, then with their tongue; if unable, then with their heart. Silence is not permissible under the pretext of the abundance of evil deeds or the distress of those who commit them, for whoever listens to evil is a partner in it. If denouncing evil does not remove it, then it is not permissible to sit with those who commit it.
