Your father has accumulated major sins by abandoning prayer and fasting, drinking alcohol, oppressing his wives, and neglecting his children's rights by not providing for them and exposing his daughters to earn money. This last act, you are not permitted to obey him in it, for "there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator." Despite all this, it is still your duty to honor him, treat him kindly, obey him in what is good, strive for his guidance, advise him gently, remind him of Allah, and seek help from Allah and from scholars and virtuous people. He should also be treated with ruqyah if it is strongly suspected that he is afflicted by magic or jinn possession. If he neglects to provide financial support, it is permissible to take from his wealth without his knowledge.
