Does one who says "The doctor will make us disbelieve" become an apostate?

A person's statement, "So-and-so will make us disbelieve (yakfurnā)," means that he will cause us to fall into disbelief (kufr). This statement does not render the speaker a disbeliever (kāfir) because he is speaking about a future event that has not yet occurred. However, it is an objectionable statement that indicates the speaker's trivialization of disbelief and his weak religious commitment. Therefore, one must be cautious of slips of the tongue, in accordance with His, the Almighty's, saying: (He utters no word except that with him is an observer, ever-present) [Quran 50:18], and in accordance with the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: (Indeed, a servant may utter a word that displeases Allah, not attaching any importance to it, and he falls into Hellfire thereby).
