Does disobeying the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) regarding food and the like affect the reward of a believer who performs the deeds of the dwellers of the highest Paradise?

"Adhering to the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and acting upon it, is one of the greatest causes for reward and a sign of sincere love. One who performs a recommended act is rewarded, while one who abstains from it misses out on the reward, though this does not affect their obligatory faith. However, the perfection of recommended faith necessitates adhering to the Sunnah in all its minute and major details. The rectitude of outward actions is intrinsically linked with the inner state, and the degree of adherence to the Sunnah corresponds to the increase in faith, while any shortcoming in it corresponds to a decrease in faith. Faith increases and decreases, and the actions of the limbs are intertwined with the actions of the hearts. Faith has an obligatory perfection (by performing obligations and avoiding prohibitions) and a recommended perfection (by adhering to recommended acts and performing sunnah acts)."
