What is the ruling on one who divorces his wife through a lian, while he is a liar?

He who falsely accuses his wife of adultery through li'an has committed a grave sin due to lying, slandering, and making false oaths, all of which are major sins. The ruling of li'an remains in effect between them even if he admits his lie. Therefore, the marriage does not resume, nor is the perpetual prohibition between them lifted, because both rights have become void and cannot be restored.
