The majority of scholars do not obligate the husband to fulfill it, while Imam Ahmad and others are of the view that fulfilling it is binding. They cite the Almighty's saying: "O you who have believed, fulfill [your] contracts," and the : "The conditions most worthy of fulfillment are those by which you make intimacy lawful."
The questioner is advised not to let this condition be an obstacle to marrying this girl. If she insists on the condition, he should agree, and he is obligated to fulfill the condition if it is stipulated. If he does not fulfill it and follows the view of the majority, there is no harm.
