Does the reward for righteous deeds reach deceased parents who did not raise me, and will they wear the crown of honor if I memorize the Qur’an?

A child is rewarded for their actions both before and after puberty. Their parents benefit from the child's supplications (du'a), seeking forgiveness (istighfar) for them, and giving charity on their behalf. The child can also dedicate the reward of their Quran recitation, Hajj, or Umrah to their parents. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When a human being dies, all of his deeds are cut off except for three: a continuous charity, knowledge from which benefit is derived, or a righteous child who prays for him." It is also narrated that the reward reaches the parents when their child gives charity on their behalf. There is an opinion that the reward of every good deed reaches the parents even if the child does not supplicate for them, and another opinion states that the parents' reward is conditional on the deed being a result of their upbringing and guidance. A child who memorizes the Quran and acts upon it will have their parents honored in Paradise by being adorned with a crown of light and two garments.
