Paying off interest-bearing debt is a priority to get rid of it and avoid the accumulation of interest, unless the debt owed to your friends is due and they do not agree to deferment, in which case both debts are of equal priority. Marriage expenses come after settling debts, unless the creditors permit deferral. Restitution of injustices from debts must take precedence over marriage, unless the creditors permit otherwise. And whoever fears temptation and is unable to marry, then let him fast.
