What are the lessons a preacher can learn from Surat Al-Muddaththir?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

In Surat Al-Muddaththir, there are lessons for those who call to Allah Almighty, including:

1. Arising to warn people and call them, and abandoning laziness (O you who covers himself [with a garment]! Arise and warn!). 2. Glorifying and exalting Allah, and not fearing anyone in delivering His message (And your Lord glorify!). 3. Purifying the self and the garment from impurities and sins (And your garments purify!). 4. Abandoning sins and evil deeds (And uncleanliness avoid!). 5. Not seeing good deeds as great or boasting about them (And do not confer favor to acquire more). 6. Patience and endurance in the path of calling to Allah Almighty (But for your Lord be patient.). 7. Contemplating the consequences of the deniers and the pious (Then when the trumpet is sounded... For the disbelievers, it will not be easy), (Except the companions of the right, [who will be] in gardens, inquiring of the criminals). 8. Steadfastness during trials and tests (And We did not make their number except as a trial for those who disbelieve).
