What is "al-isbal" (letting one's garment hang below the ankles), what is its ruling, what is its legal limit according to Sharia, how does one respond to someone who says, "I do not intend arrogance by it," and what is your opinion on those who wear tight and transparent clothing?

Isbāl is the lengthening of garments below the ankles. A severe warning of hellfire has been issued for those who do it, whether out of arrogance or not, because the Hadith is general. As for one who drags his garment out of arrogance, his punishment is more severe: Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection. It is also forbidden to wear transparent clothes that reveal the 'awrah (private parts), or tight clothes that show their details and cause fitnah (temptation).
