Is performing the obligatory and supererogatory acts of worship, memorizing and reciting the Qur’an, and giving charity and zakat sufficient for what is required of a person, or must he join da'wah groups and others?

If a person fulfills the rights of Allah and the rights of His servants, such as bearing witness (to the Shahada), establishing prayer, giving zakat, fasting, performing Hajj, reciting the Quran, and giving charity, then he is upon great good and has fulfilled what Allah has enjoined upon him, as mentioned in the Hadith of the Bedouin who inquired about Islam. In addition to this, Allah loves supererogatory acts, and through them, the servant draws closer to Him, such as supererogatory prayers, fasting, Hajj, Umrah, and charity, all of which elevate the servant's ranks with Allah. As for going out with some groups, it is neither necessary nor obligatory.
