What is the ruling on developing a smart social media application that contains humorous cartoon drawings for its promotion?

It is permissible to use cartoon images in purposeful applications designed to facilitate communication, provided they are free from forbidden elements such as corrupt beliefs, indecent scenes, music, and lies. There is no harm in the application containing humor, as long as it is not a lie, falsehood, or mockery, following the example of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) who would jest with truth. Lying to make people laugh is forbidden.
