What are the limits of interaction with the husband's male relatives in light of the husband's rejection of that?

The husband's maternal and paternal uncles are considered non-mahram (foreigners) to his wife unless they are her mahram relatives. Therefore, it is not permissible to mix with them in a forbidden manner or to sit with them in family gatherings where Islamic regulations are not observed. As for returning greetings, if there is no suspicion or temptation, it is preferable for the husband not to prevent his wife from returning greetings, especially if prevention causes resentment with his family. However, if there is suspicion or fear of temptation, the husband must be obeyed. Similarly, even if there is no apparent suspicion, jurists have been strict regarding a young woman greeting a non-mahram man or returning his greeting, in order to block the means and prevent temptation.
