The validity of this marriage does not depend on its documentation in court. It is a condition that her guardian be a Christian like her, and her father is the most entitled to give her in marriage. Despite its permissibility, marriage to Christian women is disliked if a righteous Muslim woman is available, as she is better for raising children according to Islam and for religious compatibility. This marriage has no relation to the invalid temporary marriage (mut'ah). It is also important to observe the regulations concerning mixing in the workplace.
