It is permissible to earn from what is allowed to be photographed and promoted, and it is not lawful to profit from what is not permissible, due to the saying of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: "Indeed, when Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, forbids eating something, He forbids its price." And Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen said: "Every forbidden thing, taking compensation for it is forbidden."
