Relationships usually weaken in advanced age, and this can be overcome by building new relationships through joining charitable work or faith-based gatherings such as Quranic circles and lessons of knowledge. The problem of dwelling on the past stems from idleness, and its solution lies in focusing on the present moment, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If only' opens the way for the work of Satan" (Muslim: 2664). One should seize what remains of life by worshipping Allah, enjoying life, and forming friendships. The book "The Joy of Life After Retirement" can be beneficial.
