Will good deeds, such as prayer and fasting, be accepted from a person who wronged a child ten years ago and repented, knowing that he intends to ask for forgiveness from this person (who is now a young man) upon his return from travel, and will good deeds be accepted until forgiveness is obtained?

A repentant believer should not forget their sins, but rather remain apprehensive and fearful of their consequences, hoping for forgiveness. Sincere repentance is accepted by Allah, and He transforms evil deeds into good ones. For complete repentance, strive to seek forgiveness briefly and without elaboration from those you have wronged. The sin, after repentance, has no effect on worship accepted by Allah.
