What is the ruling on people traveling from distant cities to pray behind a specific reciter, and does this fall under the prohibition mentioned in the hadith: "Journeys are not to be undertaken except to three mosques: al-Masjid al-Haram, al-Masjid al-Aqsa, and this mosque of mine"?

There is no objection to traveling to attend Quranic circles and listen to it; rather, it falls under journeys undertaken for seeking knowledge, and it is not among the prohibited "setting out specifically" (شد الرحال). Moses, peace be upon him, traveled to seek knowledge, and scholars have continuously traveled for this purpose. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever travels a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise."
