Is it permissible for a Muslim woman to go to the mosque for Friday prayer, and how is this prayer performed, and does it replace the four-rak'ah Dhuhr prayer, and is it obligatory for her to perform ghusl before going, and is Tahiyyat al-Masjid (greeting of the mosque prayer) prescribed on Friday?

Jumu'ah prayer is not obligatory for women, but it is permissible for them to attend. It consists of two sermons and two rak'ahs of prayer. If a woman catches one rak'ah or more with the Imam, the Dhuhr prayer is waived for her. It is two rak'ahs with a tashahhud and taslim, similar to the Fajr prayer, and it is not valid except behind the Jumu'ah Imam.
