What is the ruling on jinn harming a mother and causing family problems because their demands are not met, and what is the relation of that to the family members' commitment to prayer and their agreement?

If jinns are inhabiting this house, it should be known that they have no authority over the righteous servants of Allah, whereas they are given power over some people due to sins and transgressions. The remembrance of Allah is the greatest fortress against jinn and devils. Therefore, one must frequently remember Allah and recite the Quran, especially Surah Al-Baqarah, from which devils flee. One can also demand that they leave the house, and caution must be exercised against falling into whispers and overthinking these matters.
