Does charitable food aid fall within the context of the hadith, "No servant opens a door of begging but Allah opens for him a door of poverty"?

It is permissible to accept aid out of necessity or severe need, such as the high cost of living. The aforementioned Hadith refers to someone who begs from people without need, not to someone in distress.
