Does stealing after performing the rituals of Umrah invalidate Umrah, and what is its ruling?

Theft after or during 'Umrah does not invalidate it. However, the thief must repent to Allah and resolve not to return to the sin. Part of completing repentance is returning the stolen item to its owner.
