Is the originator of an idea entitled to claim a share of the profits gained by another person who exploited his idea and succeeded with it?

The originator of an idea has no financial right over one who benefits from it and invests in it. Rather, he has a moral right, which consists of appreciating his idea and its merit. This differs from intellectual property rights, which have financial value and a special status. Even in this case, the right of its owner does not exceed its material value, and he has no right to the profits of one who worked and invested.
