Does the saying that everything considered 'awrah must be covered even in seclusion mean that a woman must cover her face and hands in seclusion, based on the opinion of those who deem covering them obligatory? If so, how does this reconcile with the permissibility of uncovering them before maharim?

The jurists who obligate covering the private parts in solitude are the Shafi'i and Hanbali jurists. What must be covered in solitude for a man are only the two private parts (front and back), and for a woman, it is what is between the navel and the knee.
