Is it permissible to wean a ten-month-old baby girl who is breastfed and bottle-fed when she reaches one year of age, based on the husband's desire to have another child, knowing that the mother breastfeeds in a state of ritual purity?

If the girl is not harmed by her weaning at one year of age, then there is no blame upon you both for weaning her, due to the Almighty's saying: "And if they both desire weaning by mutual consent from them and consultation, there is no blame upon them." Ibn al-Arabi holds that the duration of breastfeeding is two years, and weaning before that is permissible if both parents agree upon it, without causing harm to the child.
