Is Murabaha permissible or forbidden, and is it a deception against the law of God, like the actions of the Jews?

Murabaha to the one who commands the purchase is a legitimate alternative to usury if it meets the Sharia requirements. Jurists have long discussed this type of sale. Al-Shafi'i, in "Kitab al-Umm," mentioned the permissibility of purchasing an item with a promise of profit. Ibn Rushd stated that pre-determining the profit is what is prohibited. The Islamic Fiqh Academy has adopted the view that Murabaha to the one who commands the purchase is permissible if it relates to an item after it has entered into the possession of the mandated party and after legal seizure, and provided that the mandated party bears responsibility for damage or defect before delivery.
